I've got a shit-ton of music that I've made, some recorded in a studio with lots of electric doo-dads and gadgets, but most of it at home with less expensive things like broken guitars, drums with the lugs missing, and cassette recorders.
I've made all this music for years, since I was a kid really, and shared it with my friends, occasionally forming bands and touring and selling merchandise and whatever. But mostly I've just cared about following my many muses and not pursuing recognition or money for my work.
Why? I don't know. Maybe it's because I want to continually invent and reinvent what I do, and I don't want to be bound to one particular musical style or sound, and I hate being told what to do.
Without the burden of selling things and regular touring to support a record label's investment, I am free to do whatever I want with my music, from abstract noise collages to full-band rock 'n' roll songs to psychedelic space and sci-fi concept records to raw, confessional folk songs.
This compilation is an overview of some of my many bands and recording projects.
